Description

- Potato digger with lateral unloading that can be mounted on tractors equipped with three point linkage and power takeoff (PTO).
|

- lt has been designed for harvesting potatoes on small and medium-sized ground plots. The machine is made up of a digging plowshare (with 2 blades, recommended for grounds with infesting leaves or grass) and 2 transversal and alternate shaking grids that are handled by a camshaft that is balanced by a rear flywheel.
|
|
- Alter they have been separated from the earth, the potatoes are deposited laterally on the ground on a single row, thus allowing the tractor to dig row by row.
|
|
- On all the points exposed to vibrations there are anti-vibrating rubber bushes that allow the machine stability while working.

How it works and its features:

Drilling mechanism: This machine is mounted on a tractor using a three-point connection and a power take-off (PTO). The front end has a digging ax (or blades with discs for cutting weeds) that penetrates the soil at an adjustable depth to raise the crop and soil mass.

Separation and screening: The mixture of potatoes and soil is transferred to a mesh or moving screening belt that vibrates vigorously. This vibration helps break up the soil and allows it to fall through the mesh bars, while the tubers are moved up.

Side Discharging: Unlike machines that empty behind, this harvester deposits separated potatoes in a narrow row sideways on the ground. This design allows the tractor to continue digging successive rows without walking over the crop that has already been harvested.

Application: Due to its compact dimensions, it is particularly suitable for use in small fields or uplands and can work efficiently on different types of soil. Anti-vibration rubber bushings are used at the vibration points to ensure the stability of the machine during operation.
